During Friday pick ups, we spoke to a few of you who are beginning to see some level of itchy skin, or the itchy skin isn't resolving. And a couple showing mobility problems.
Here is some helpful info......
Sometimes, itchy skin is totally resolved just by switching from commercial dog food to a fresh formula with limited ingredients that you are familiar with and can even pronounce! There are dozens of weird ingredients in ALL commercial food that your dog could be sensitive to. It is always a good idea to stop feeding commercial food. Over time, damage is almost unavoidable.
Sometimes there is damage to the gut that needs to be resolved. Always start by feeding a fresh diet plus fresh Cod Liver Oil.

Other times it could be a true allergy to something like perfume, or a household cleaning item, or chemicals in the grass, grass itself, or even laundry detergents. Do your best to remove all of these from your dog's environment.
