Our Own Vet Makes a Great Point

Why spend money on processed food that is trying its best to mimic real food, when you can feed real food to your dog (the point our own veterinarian makes to his own patients)?

If you have the opportunity to feed your dog fresh, real, great-tasting food, made locally in small batches by other dog lovers that you can actually talk to, why would you feed your dog expensive, ultra-processed waste that contains a lot of carbs that, over time can harm your dog (and cost more money)?

Hmmm, well, some people don't feed real food only because their veterinarian says it's actually dangerous to feed real food, and wants you to feed the dry, processed food they sell. But why is it dangerous to feed real food???? Dangerous for whom?

What veterinarian could say, with a straight face, that feeding your dog mass-produced processed food with no real meat, plus a gazillion other weird processed ingredients, rather than human-grade fresh chicken, and fresh veggies for example, is healthier for your dog?

The biggest reason they normally start with is bacteria. Yes, bacteria from raw meat can be unhealthy, and make a human sick. But, do you handle and eat meat yourself? Has that made you sick, ever? Every human we know handles their own meat properly and doesn't get sick from it, and every customer we have does the same with Napa Fresh.

A bit of common sense is called for.

Plus, we all know that dogs handle bacteria far differently than humans (dogs regularly eat, roll in, and lick disgusting things, and rarely get sick from it).

So, what are the facts?

Here's Dr. Conor Brady, who wrote the best-selling book on dog nutrition, "Feeding Dogs", on the reality, the studies, and what you can intelligently and kindly tell your veterinarian who asks what you feed your dog. Now you can be prepared, and you don't have to feel uncomfortable when you make your decision to stop feeding junk to your dog (yes, all dry food is junk). You can now feel educated and confident! Why Consider Napa Fresh?

Unlike other "fresh" food for dogs, Napa Fresh is totally human-grade, whole, unprocessed, and raw. We don't use any gas-producing legumes or even lentils as a protein source, we don't use potatoes, rice, or pasta of any kind, we don't use cruciferous vegetables like broccoli or Brussel's sprouts, that also increase the risk of producing gas in many dogs, and possibly bloat in deep-chested, bloat-prone breeds.

Napa Fresh is 65% fresh meat according to the formulations of Dr. Ian Billinghurst, a buddy of Dr. Brady's!

And Napa Fresh LOOKS like fresh ground meat and vegetables. Because it is.

Napa Fresh is appealing to even the pickiest of dogs, and is especially beneficial to dogs with "sensitive tummy" because it is so easily digested. (Time to ditch the icky, expensive prescription diets?)

So, it might be time to rethink spending your good money on processed, imitation "food", and consider spending it on real, fresh food for the dog you love. Either do it yourself, or make your life simple, and let us do all the work. We love doing it.

Bonus

Feeding fresh food can save you 82% on vet bills (according to one organization in Ireland, cited by Dr. Brady, housing over 200 NEADS dogs, by simply switching to fresh food). It can also resolve obesity in dogs, which in turn solves many health problems.
